In accordance with Google Play Developer Policy and data protection regulations, users and merchants of VeriStock Pro can request the permanent deletion of their account profile and workspace data via this web portal or directly within the Android POS app (under Settings → About App → Account Management).

⚠️ Critical Notice: 72-Hour Cancellation Grace Period

Initiating account deletion triggers a mandatory 72-hour grace period. During this window, you may cancel deletion by logging back into the Android POS terminal. After 72 hours, all personal identities, customer khata lists, and product catalogs are permanently purged.

📜 Statutory Retention Compliance (Section 36, CGST Act 2017)

Under Indian taxation law, GST sales tax invoices, financial vouchers, and ledger journals must be retained for 72 months (6 years). These records are anonymized (personal PII scrubbed) and retained strictly in encrypted cold audit storage for statutory tax authorities.

Deletion Scope by Role:

Business Owners (OWNER): Deletes the business tenant, revokes access for all invited staff, permanently clears product catalogs, and closes all active cloud sessions.
Store Staff (Manager, Cashier, Technician, CA): Deletes your personal credentials, profile documents, and unlinks your access from the merchant workspace. Store transactional records remain intact with the business owner.
